A Christmas Carol 2023

“Astounding, ingenious and beautifully evocative” – Daily Info (Oxford)

It has been an absolute JOY bringing A Christmas Carol back to life this December, at the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot.

We have been having a ball delighting audiences old and young, and couldn’t be more proud of the fabulous young companies who are doing amazing work.

We’re also over the moon with Daily Info Oxford’s corking review of the show. Have a full read here but warning, it contains spoilers!

Come and join us if you haven’t already, bah humbug!

Three – New R&D and New Roles!

2023 is shaping up to be very exciting and we are over the moon that Arts Council England will be supporting the research and development of our brand new show, Three. Exploring the relationships between Grandparents and Grandchildren, Three will also be our first foray into mask, alongside puppetry and we can’t wait to experiment with a new visual form, supported by Rachael Savage, artistic director of leading mask company, Vamos Theatre. We’ll be working with some excellent partners including The Marlowe, Canterbury and The Garage, Norwich, in addition to conducting workshops with older people in the community including working with Age UK Tunbridge Wells, Bright Shadow, CARM and Medway African and Carribbean Association (MACA). We’re also delighted to be able to expand the team for this R&D and we have just opened a call out for two new roles; a performer/puppeteer from the Global Majority and a Neurodiverse Creative Marketing and Administration Intern. For more information about the roles and how to apply, see our Three show page here

Touring Shows 2023

After the Three R&D, 2023 will see us back out on the road, with three shows. Buzz and Arbor the Tree will back in action over the Summer and then the Autumn will see Kinder travel up and down the UK. We had a blast premiering Kinder earlier on this year and were overwhelmed with the positive reception including this corking review:
