Three R&D – Sharings

The next few weeks will see us head into the research and development of our brand new show Three. This is our first foray into combining mask and puppetry and we’ll be exploring grandparent-grandchildren relationships. We’re delighted to be welcoming Rachael Savage, artistic director of Vamos Theatre, into the room, to support on the mask work and we’re very excited to have a proper play with everything!

We’ll be doing two public sharings; one at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury on Friday 17th February and one at The Garage on Friday 3rd March. The Marlowe sharing will also be live streamed on our Facebook page. For more information head over to our Three show page, here, to find out more.

Supported by Arts Council England.

Kinder wins two Offie awards!

On Sunday 12th February, we were delighted to attend the Offies 2023 Award Ceremony at Alexandra Palace in London. Kinder was nominated for three awards in the Theatre for Young Audiences category and took home two awards; one for Best Original Music/Sound Design and one for Best Production.

It was a really special evening and we are extremely humbled to have won the awards. As always, we are indebted to our incredible creative team, without whom this would be possible and to our brilliant partner venues, Little Angel Theatre and EM Forster Theatre.

Kinder will be touring in Autumn 2023, so watch out for news on that coming soon.

We have been having a ball delighting audiences old and young, and couldn’t be more proud of the fabulous young companies who are doing amazing work.

We’re also over the moon with Daily Info Oxford’s corking review of the show. Have a full read here but warning, it contains spoilers!
