Kate McStraw (Producer)

Kate is a Creative Producer and Access Consultant, working across the arts and cultural sector. She is an advocate for reducing barriers to accessing arts and working with arts for social change. Kate has developed and delivered a range of productions and projects for disabled-led companies and artists, including arts activist Viv Gordon, visual artist Anna Berry, circus company Extraordinary Bodies and performing arts company Diverse City. Kate also has a passion for puppetry! She was part of the producing team of Bristol Festival of Puppetry in 2015 and 2017; leading to her becoming the Creative Producer of the award-winning puppetry company Green Ginger, where she produced an international tour of Intronauts (2018-19) and school’s touring commission from the Royal Academy of Engineering RATLab (2021).
