We Are More Alike Than You Think We Are
We’ve started work on our brand new piece, We’re More Alike Than You Think We Are and have loved getting stuck into some community engagement to fuel our creativity!
March has seen us visit a group of refugees at KRAN (Kent Refugee Action Network) and also undertake a community drop in session at Folkestone Museum.
It’s been really exciting to hear first hand about people’s perceptions of Folkestone and how this has changed over the years. We are exploring the idea of Folkestone as centre of migration and movement, a place that both historically and currently people move through and/or move to.
Over the new few months, we’ll be developing the script with local author, Ann Morgan, before we head into the build and rehearsal phase in July.
Most importantly, we’re delighted to announce that our first shows will be on the 3 & 4 August, in the Folkestone Harbour Arm. All performances will be free, family friendly and outdoors! Stay tuned for news on exact timings and to read more, visit the show page here.
