ASHTAR International Youth Festival

In July, we had a wonderful time working on an International Project, in Palestine; partnering with ASHTAR International Youth Theatre Festival, Mandala Theatre Company, Crooked House Theatre Company, supported by the British Council.

During this project, a group of incredible young people from the UK, Ireland, Palestine and Sweden came together to share creative work and collaborate. We worked with a group on creating a large scale puppet for a parade at the end of the project. Unfortunately, the final parade was disrupted by a small group of individuals which resulted in our immediate evacuation. We’re sad that we weren’t able to publicly share the fabulous work of the young people but that doesn’t take away from the sense of togetherness that was fostered during the project. We made some wonderful connections and are looking forward to exploring new ideas with them soon!
