Shadows of Time – Marsyas Trio

Back in 2014, we collaborated with the Marysas Trio, an award winning contemporary, classical music trio. We worked with the trio to create a live shadow puppetry piece, to accompany a brand new piece of music by composer Laura Bowler, commissioned by the trio. Including everything from a hammer, a pestle and mortar and the lid of a piano being played, Laura’s piece Salutem charts the history of man through time, which is mirrored in our shadow puppetry with a story of one man living across all of these ages.

Shadows of Time will be performed live at the Marysas Trio album launch on Wednesday 17 October, as part of Bloomsbury Festival. More information and tickets here.
