Flux R&D 2018 – Follow our journey
Our brand new show, Flux, has been in the (neon) pipeline for a while and we can’t wait to get cracking on the next phase of development for the project. Supported by Arts Council England, alongside Shoreditch Town Hall, Oxford Playhouse, Old Fire Station – Oxford, Brewery Arts Centre – Kendal and the Cornerstone – Didcot, this next stage will see us develop Kate’s character, the narrative and set/puppet design.
With a brand new set that looks like a combination of a giant periodic table and a giant game of Tetris, and a newly made body for Kate (don’t worry we’ve kept the perm), we can’t wait to get back into the rehearsal room. The hugely talented Sherry Coenen and Clancy Flynn will be joining us again to play with lighting ideas for the show and the wonderful Anne Conde will be joining Molly and Hattie in the cast. Our newest recruit is Jon Ouin, who is coming on board as our composer and has the small task of fulfilling all of our 80’s music dreams – good luck Jon!
