Arbor

We were delighted to unveil our 18ft tree man puppet, Arbor, at Derby Festé in September. Commissioned by the festival, Arbor walked the streets of Derby, handing out tree saplings, encouraging people to plant native tree species. The original creative idea came from our associate artist, George Bellamy and it was his love of nature, combined with our common love of puppetry, that inspired Arbor.

Celebrating British and Indian traditions, we brought together the ancient British, Green Man, symbol and the Indian festival, Van Mahostav (Festival of Trees) and had a blast letting Arbor loose on Derby!

Arbor is available to hire and will be will be out and about in Summer 2018.
